New Business Coordinator


The primary focus for the New Business Coordinator position is to support the production of CFG Brokerage Network’s inventory. The ideal candidate for this role will be expected to track processing efficiencies and develop creative solutions to improve effectiveness; ultimately moving towards ownership of particular functions and responsibilities for specific department(s) within the firm.

Business Implementation Support

  • Meet with the Managing Director on a weekly basis to review overall business
  • Work closely with each Brokerage Director and Brokerage Manager to work through cases
  • Review New Business Applications for accuracy
  • Manage pipeline of open inventory
  • Support the entire implementation of case from start to finish
  • Help to negotiate underwriting offers

Business Processing Efficiencies

  • Audit of business processing efficiencies
  • Track pipeline of key brokerage relationships
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processing

Support Service of Existing Brokerage Relationships

  • Work with directors and managers to help provide great service
  • Educate directors and managers on best practices to improve underwriting results
  • Work closely with managing director to continuously improve service model

Key Qualifications, Skills & Characteristics

  • Detail oriented
  • Innovative and analytical thinker
  • Driven, team-player
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth-oriented
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills
