CFG Brokerage Network is a member of MassMutual financial group. MassMutual is one of the highest rated insurance companies that provides solutions that our brokers can trust.

MassMutual was founded on May 15, 1851. And from the beginning, we've had a single purpose: to help people secure their future and protect the ones they love. More than 160 years later, that commitment remains our guiding principle. It’s behind everything we do and every decision we make. It’s how we continue to deliver products and services to help our policy owners and customers achieve their financial goals, and protect those who matter most.

MassMutual is a mutual company. That means we don’t have shareholders. Instead, our members and participating policy owners are often described as sharing in our ownership. This generally means that, if you’re insured under a MassMutual whole life insurance policy, for example, you are a member entitled to vote for our Board of Directors. And if you own that participating policy, you may be eligible to share in any dividends we may declare.

As a mutual company, we operate for the benefit of our members and participating policy owners. We manage the company with a focus on their long-term interests and are not subject to the expectations of Wall Street analysts or stockholders. Throughout our history, this focus on the long-term has helped us provide financial and retirement security to millions of people. And while they're not guaranteed, we've consistently paid dividends to eligible participating policy owners since the 1860's. Our success is reflected in our financial strength ratings1, which are among the highest of any company in any industry.

Our “people-first” approach has served our customers and our communities for more than a century and a half. It’s reflected in the products we offer, extends to the customer service we provide, and continues beyond our organization into the communities where we live and work.

For us, corporate responsibility is a fundamental part of who we are. We’re consistently looking at ways we can help our employees, support our neighbors and protect our environment.

Inside our organization, we recognize the volunteer efforts of our employees and Financial Professionals with a grant program for their favorite non-profits. In our communities, we’re active supporters of organizations ranging from Easter Seals to Junior Achievement, while we offer scholarships and life insurance coverage to help young people pursue their education goals. And to minimize our impact on the environment, we've installed solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations and a rain reclamation irrigation system at our LEED-certified headquarters building.

For each of us at MassMutual, treating our customers with respect is an extension of the way we treat each other as colleagues. Our approach is simple: a healthy and diverse team helps us help you.

We work hard to maintain the physical and intellectual well-being of our team. In 2013 alone, for example, we invested $1.6 million in our employee education assistance program.

While our wellness initiatives help our employees (and their families) eat better, stay active, and take a greater role in their overall health and wellness. Our wellness programs have been honored by the American Heart Association, the National Business Group on Health, and others. And our diversity and inclusion efforts have been recognized by Diversity Inc’s Noteworthy Companies List (three years running) and the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (with a perfect score of 100).
