Successful Advanced Estate Planning Techniques
This classroom course will educate producers on the critical estate, retirement and succession planning issues that come about with planning for the small business owners and professionals. Not only do you have to go over with the client the more typical estate planning questions like family income protection, reducing estate taxes and estate equalization, but now throw in the fact that we have an asset (the business) that could likely make up the majority of the estate.

This classroom course will provide education on the planning issues faced by business owners during each stage of their business, including how to pass ownership on from one generation to another, how to prepare for the unexpected, such as when the owner dies, how to attract and retain key employees, do proper estate planning, and other business succession and continuation issues. Each of the topics is presented through unscripted interviews with real business owners. Interpersed throughout the vignettes, is commentary from experienced professionals who work with business owners on these specific issues. During the seminar, attendees will have opportunities to discuss the issues and possible solutions for each topic in greater detail with a skilled facilitator.

This classroom course will educate producers on types of executive benefits planning strategies including the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation, Split Dollar Plans, and Section 162 Bonus Plans. As well, this course will cover the uses of life insurance in these plans.

Life Insurance: Introduction to Permanent Products
This classroom course is intended to provide basic education and training on features found in some of the common permanent Life Insurance products in the market today - Whole Life, Universal Life, Indexed Universal Life and Variable Universal Life Insurance. The course introduces the concept of qualitative vs. quantitative strategies - an approach which helps match client needs and objectives with the right Life Insurance products.
